Ingredients for Leftover Dal Paratha Recipe

  • 1/2 Cup Whole wheat flour
  • To Taste Salt
  • 0.17 Teaspoon Red chili powder
  • 0.08 Teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 0.08 Teaspoon Ajwain
  • 0.33 Teaspoon Sesame seeds
  • 0.33 Tsp Green chili paste
  • 0.17 Teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 0.33 Pieces onion chopped
  • 1/4 Cup Leftover dal
  • As Required Water
  • As Required Oil for frying paratha

Directions: Leftover Dal Paratha Recipe

  • STEP 1.Making the dough: Take whole wheat flour in a bowl along with salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, ajwain and sesame seeds. Mix well.
  • STEP 2.Add green chilies, ginger paste, onion and leftover dal.
  • STEP 3.Mix thoroughly till everything is well combined. Once it is mixed, add water as needed and knead into smooth and soft dough. Cover it and let it rest for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 4.Making dal paratha recipe: After 15 minutes, knead the dough once again. Divide into equal portions.
  • STEP 5.Make smooth balls and flatten them.
  • STEP 6.Now take 1 dough ball and dust both the sides into the dry flour. Roll into circle.
  • STEP 7.Heat the tawa or pan on medium heat. Once hot place rolled paratha on it.
  • STEP 8.After few seconds flip the paratha and cook other side for few seconds.
  • STEP 9.Now apply oil on both sides. Once both sides are cooked, remove it from the tawa and place into serving plate.
  • STEP 10.Serve with butter curd and pickle.
