 A dessert prepared from khoya and white flour.Lavang Latika is a traditional recipe of Bengal prepared especially on festivals. This tantalizing dish coated with sugar syrup and crusty from outside but stuffed with mawa and dry fruits and with a clove on top is loved by all.

Ingredients for Lavang Latika Recipe

  • 1 Khoya bowl
  • 2 cup White Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Cardamom powder
  • 1.50 tablespoon Ground sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chironji seeds
  • 3/4 glass Water
  • 1 Longlatta clove for each
  • 1 Sugar syrup bowl
  • 4 tablespoon Refined oil

  • STEP 1.Fry khoya gently for 20-25 mins.

  • STEP 3.S cooked leave it to cool down.

  • STEP 4.Then add powdered cardamom,ground sugar and chironji seeds.

  • STEP 5.Prepare one bowl of sugar syrup.

  • STEP 6.Knead white flour with 1 tbsp oil and water.

  • STEP 7.Make a dough.

  • STEP 8.1.take a small amount of dough and flatten it.

  • STEP 9.2.now stuff the centre with khoya.

  • STEP 10.3.fold it and fry it until it appears golden brown.

step 11

  • STEP 11.4.now insert one clove on each fried longlatta.

  • STEP 12.5.then dip the longlatta into sugar syrup
