Ingredients for Lauki Malai Kofta Recipe

  • 1/5 cup chopped bottle gourd
  • 1/5 nos Onion Chopped
  • 1/5 nos Tomato chopped
  • 0-1/5 nos Cashew raisins
  • 1/5 tsp Ginger paste
  • 0.60 nos cloves garlic chopped
  • 1/5 tsp red chilli powder
  • 1/5 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/5 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1/5 tsp Chat Masala powder
  • 1/5 handful whole garam masalas
  • 1/5 tsp cumin seed
  • 1/5 nos bay leaf
  • As required To taste salt and sugar
  • As required As needed oil

Directions: Lauki Malai Kofta Recipe

  • STEP 1.Boil the chopped gourd with salt
  • STEP 2.Mash it well and add salt ginger red chilli Powder and chat masala
  • STEP 3.Add 1 tbsp corn flour and prepare a dough
  • STEP 4.Now heat oil and fry koftas taking small portion of the dough
  • STEP 5.Keep the koftas aside on a serving bowl
  • STEP 6.Now heat more oil if needed and temper cumin seed bay leaf and whole garam masalas
  • STEP 7.Add onion chopped and saute well
  • STEP 8.Prepare a paste of tomato green chillies and cashew-raisins
  • STEP 9.Now add garlic and ginger into the pan and saute well adding salt and turmeric powder
  • STEP 10.Add red chilli Powder and the masala paste saute well till it releases oil
  • STEP 11.Now add milk and boil adding sugar and garam masala powder
  • STEP 12.Pour the curry over the koftas and keep aside
