  • STEP 1.Peel the bottle gourd and cut it into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Boil the bottle gourd pieces in water until they become soft.
  • STEP 3.Drain the water and mash the bottle gourd to a smooth consistency.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 5.Once the seeds start to crackle, add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 6.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.
  • STEP 7.Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they become soft.
  • STEP 8.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 9.Add the mashed bottle gourd and mix everything together.
  • STEP 10.Cook for a few minutes until the flavors blend well.
  • STEP 11.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti or rice.
