  • 0.33 teaspoon Garlic, Minced
  • 0.17 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 0.33 teaspoon Red Chili Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak the chana dal for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add cumin seeds, ginger, and garlic.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and coriander powder. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add the soaked chana dal, bottle gourd, salt, and water. Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles.
  • STEP 6.Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and garnish with coriander leaves.
