  • 1/2 Cup chana dal
  • 1/4 Cup small peele chopped lauki
  • 1/4 Pieces chopped onion
  • 1/4 Pieces chopped tomatoes
  • As Required desi ghee
  • As Required As per taste salt
  • 1/4 Tsp green chilli and ginger paste
  • 0.38 Tsp cumin seeds
  • 0.13 Tsp red chilli powder
  • 0.13 Tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp coriander powder
  • 0.13 Tsp garam masala
  • As Required water

How to Make Lauki Chana Dal Recipe

STEP 01

Wash nd soak chana dal for at least half an hour drain the chana dal and keep it separate..Take a pressure cooker add chana dal lauki salt and turmeric powder and required water cover with the lid and pressure cook for about 5-6 whistle on a med flame.

STEP 02

Take up a pan add deshi ghee when ghee hot then sdd cumin seeds nd garlic chilli paste now we add the onion and roast in brown colour

STEP 03

Now add chopped tomatoes.. add all the dry spices red chilli powder garam masala powder coriander powder roast till the tomato soft nd mushy..

STEP 04

Add this gravy in the the cooked daal and cook 5 minutes more..Now your lauki chana dal is ready serve with chapati
