  • 1/2 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/4 cup Sugar
  • 0.13 teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and grate the bottle gourd. Squeeze out the excess water.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat ghee and add the grated bottle gourd. Cook until it becomes soft and the moisture evaporates.
  • STEP 3.Add milk to the pan and cook on low heat until it thickens.
  • STEP 4.Add sugar, cardamom powder, and saffron strands. Mix well and cook until the mixture thickens and leaves the sides of the pan.
  • STEP 5.Pour the mixture into a greased tray and spread it evenly. Let it cool and set for a few hours.
  • STEP 6.Cut the set burfee into desired shapes and serve.
