Lauki barfi is a traditional sweet dish basicall made with lauki and mawa. Its very healthy tasty and delicious.
STEP 1.Wash peel and grate lauki and take a kadai add ghee and put all grated lauki in it.
STEP 2.Boil milk in a heavy bottom pan. Mix milk in lauki and keep it boiling in medium flame for 7-8 minutes or until lauki becomes tender.
STEP 3.After some time it becomes little thick then add remaining ingredients one by one. Like elsichi sugar.
STEP 4.When we add sugar consistency becomes little runny. Keep stirring it for another 5-6 minutes or until it becomes solid. Add ghee roasted dryfruits.
STEP 5.Grease the tray and transfer this mixture into it and tap it. Decorate it.
STEP 6.Once this becomes cool then refrigerate it for 2-3 hours. Then take out and cut into desired shape. Lauki Burfis are ready. You can store them in a container but because of milk and khoya its shelf life is only for 3-4 days.
STEP 7.Enjoy home made tasty sweet at home with family.
