Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Peel and chop the bottle gourd and potatoes into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds, bay leaves, and dry red chilies.
  • STEP 3.Add the chopped bottle gourd and potatoes to the pan and sauté for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, and salt to taste.
  • STEP 5.Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the vegetables are tender.
  • STEP 6.Add garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
