Ingredients for Lamb Curry Recipe

  • 500 gram Lamb
  • 2 tablespoon Turmeric powder
  • As required Salt
  • 4 tablespoon Curd
  • 250 gram Onions
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 2 tablespoon Peppercorns
  • 8 Green chillies
  • 15-20 Cashews
  • 2 tablespoon Khus khus
  • 2 teaspoon Coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoon Coconut oil
  • 1-2 Bay leaves
  • 2 Cloves
  • stick Cinnamon
  • As required Cardamom pods
  • 2 tablespoon Fennel powder
  • As required Few curry leaves
  • 4 Large Tomatoes
  • 2 Large potatoes
  • 150 milliliter Coconut milk
  • 1 Lemon

Directions: Lamb Curry Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Add lamb in a pressure cooker.

  • STEP 2.Add turmeric powder and salt as per taste.

  • STEP 3.Add curd & mix

  • STEP 4.Cook it in a pressure cooker finely.

  • STEP 5.In a pan add ghee & heat it.

  • STEP 6.Add balck peppercorns

  • STEP 7.Then add green chillies,cashews & onions

  • STEP 8.Fry it for 2-3 mins & let it cool for some time.

  • STEP 9.Now grind the fried mixture along with khus khus

  • STEP 10.Add coconut milk into the grinded paste

step 11

  • STEP 11.Add coconut oil in a pan & heat it.

step 12

  • STEP 12.Now add bay leaves, cinnamon stick & cardamom pods

step 13

  • STEP 13.Then add fennel seeds,onions and curry leaves

step 14

  • STEP 14.Add ginger garlic paste,tomatoes & mix well

step 15

  • STEP 15.Now add the grinded paste.

step 16

  • STEP 16.Add the boiled lamb and mix well.
