Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and chop the lady's finger into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until tomatoes are soft.
  • STEP 5.Add the chopped lady's finger and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 6.In a separate bowl, mix tamarind pulp with water and add it to the pan.
  • STEP 7.Add sambar powder and let the curry simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or as a side dish.

  • Choose tender and fresh lady's finger for better taste and texture.
