  • 1/2 tablespoon Oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2.75 Ws
  • 1/2 Tomatoes, Chopped
  • 0.13 teaspoon Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Red Chili Powder
  • As required Salt To Taste
  • 1/2 tablespoon Fresh Cream
  • 0.13 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • as needed Coriander Leaves For Garnish

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and dry the okra, then trim the ends and cut them into small pieces.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute. Then add cashews and cook until they turn golden.
  • STEP 4.Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft and mushy.
  • STEP 5.Remove the mixture from the heat and let it cool. Then blend it into a smooth paste.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and add the blended paste. Cook for a few minutes until the oil separates.
  • STEP 7.Add the chopped okra and mix well. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the okra is tender.
  • STEP 8.Add fresh cream and garam masala. Mix well and cook for another 2 minutes.
  • STEP 9.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
