A simple wraps prepared from cocoyams mixed along cocoyam leaves, spinach, smoked fish, red oil and other seasoning ingredients Kwacoco Bible are wrapped in plantain leaves and ae steamed until cooked through and contains of a very aromatic and flavourful filling.

Ingredients for Kwacoco Bible Recipe

  • 7 Nos medium cocoyams
  • 1 cup palm oil, lightly warmed
  • 1 cup smoked fish, flaked
  • 1 cup crayfish, roughly blended
  • 3 Nos small seasoning cubes
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 Nos scotch bonnet pepper
  • 1/2 bunch cocoyam leaves chopped

step 1

  • STEP 1.Peel off coco yams and blend it into a fine paste. In a bowl mix blend coco yams along with salt, maggi, palm oil,spinach,fish and mix well

  • STEP 1.Place a portion of the mixture in banana wrap and keep it aside and repeat the same with the remaining mixture

  • STEP 1.Line up the cooking pot with banana leaves/aluminium foil, and place the wraps into the pot and cover it with some more banana leaves/aluminium foil.

step 8

  • STEP 1.In a halfway cooking add in water,cover and cook for 15 minutes and once its cooked for an hour let the remaining water dry up and then turn off the flame.
