Kuay Teow Lui Suan is a version of spring rolls that use wide rice noodles for the wrappers instead of rice paper. These wide flat rice noodles are stuffed with lettuce and herbs plus sausage or shrimp. It comes with a green sweet chili dipping sauce. You can also get them with tofu to keep them completely vegetarian.

Ingredients for Kuay Teow Lui Suan Recipe

  • 450 gram rice noodles
  • 300 gram minced pork
  • 1 cup Lettuce
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 cup long coriander
  • 1 cup Basil leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 3 tablespoon Sugar
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • As required Spicy sauce
  • 20 bird chilies
  • 10 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 chopped coriander leaves and root
  • 6 tablespoon Lime Juice
  • 6 tablespoon fish sauce

  • STEP 1.Shred the carrot, cut the ends of lettuce, and cut the coriander leaves.

  • STEP 1.In a blender add bird chilies, garlic clove, chopped coriander leaves and root, lime juice, fish sauce, and sugar. Blend it all well and take it out in a bowl.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Take a pan to heat oil on a medium-high flame, then add the minced pork and stir and mash them for 2-3 minutes. Then season it with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, and stir-fry until cooked.
