Ingredients for Kovakka Mezhukupuratti Recipe

  • 3 No.s sliced red chillies
  • 5 No.s chopped garlic
  • 1 No.s chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder
  • 500 gram sliced ivy gourd
  • As required Water
  • 1 sprig curry leaves
  • 1 pinch Salt

Directions: Kovakka Mezhukupuratti Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Heat into a pan, some cooking oil. Add 3 sliced red chilli and 5 chopped garlic cloves. Saute well.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Add 1 chopped onion, a sprig of curry leaves and a pinch of salt. Saute till onions turn golden brown.

step 3

  • STEP 1.To the mix add in ¼ tsp of turmeric powder and ½ tsp of chilli powder and mix well.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Add 500 gms of sliced ivy gourd and stir cook.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Sprinkle some water and cook closed for 5-7 minutes on medium flame.

step 6

  • STEP 1.Turn off the flame and serve into a dish.
