Ingredients for Komolar Kheer Recipe

  • 2 liter Milk
  • 5 No.s Saffron strands
  • 2 No.s Oranges
  • 1 tablespoon Cardamom powder
  • 8 tablespoon Sugar

Directions: Komolar Kheer Recipe

  • STEP 1.Take 2 liters of milk and let it boil on medium flame. Once the milk is boiled let the milk cook more on low flame to have a reduced quantity.
  • STEP 2.Mix about 8 tablespoons of sugar (as per taste)  , add some roasted saffron strands in a powdered form, some cardamom powder and then turm off the heat.  transfer the milk in a bowl and let it cool down.
  • STEP 3.Once the milk is cooled down, add the oranges, peeled and make sure to remove all the seeds and strings. Mix well. Put the kheer in the refrigerator for 3-4 hours.
  • STEP 4.Garnish with some dry nuts.
