Ingredients for Kolkata Style Maggie Biriyani Recipe

  • 150 g Chicken
  • 2 Tbsp Onion paste
  • 1 Tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 1 Tsp green chillie paste
  • 1 Pieces Sliced onion
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 3 Tbsp Refined oil
  • 3 Packet Maggi noodles packet
  • A Few Drops Kewra water
  • A Few Drops Mitha atar
  • 1 Tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 Cup water
  • 1 Pieces Fried Potato ( cut into 2 pieces)
  • 1 Pieces Boiled egg

Directions: Kolkata Style Maggie Biriyani Recipe

  • STEP 1.Marinated the chicken with onion paste , ginger garlic paste and green chillie paste for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat refined oil in kadai. Fry the sliced onion until dark brown . Take it ( beresta ) in a plate. In the same kadai add marinated chicken . Cook it in high flame for 3 minutes. Then reduce the flame and cover the kadai with a lid. After 10 minutes later remove the lid and add salt and turmeric powder. Fry it another 2 minutes in high flame. Then add garam masala powder , maggi noodles and masala , 3/4 cup of water , kewra water and mitha atar . Mix them with a help of a spatula. Add fried potato . Again cover the kadai with the lid. Reduce the flame and wait for 4 minutes. 4 minutes later remove the lid and increase the flame high. Wait for 30 seconds , then trun off the gas.
  • STEP 3.Serve hot with beresta and boiled egg.
