Kofta Biryani Recipe

Recipe By Slurrp

Kofta Biryani is a flavorful and aromatic rice dish that combines succulent meatballs (koftas) with fragrant basmati rice. The koftas are made with a mixture of ground meat, spices, and herbs, which are then cooked in a rich and spicy tomato-based gravy. The koftas are then layered with the cooked rice and garnished with fried onions, mint, and coriander leaves. This biryani is a complete meal on its own and is perfect for special occasions or gatherings.

  • You can also add a handful of fried cashews and raisins to the biryani for added texture and sweetness.
  • Make sure the koftas are cooked through before adding them to the tomato gravy to ensure they hold their shape.
