  • 1.33 cup Water
  • 0.17 teaspoon Turmeric Powder

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Dry roast kodo millet and moong dal separately until they turn golden brown.
  • STEP 2.Pressure cook the roasted millet and dal with water, turmeric powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, black pepper, ginger, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 4.Add the cooked millet and dal mixture to the pan and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Serve hot with coconut chutney or sambar.

Storage and Serving

  • Leftover kodo millet ven pongal can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
