- 25 gram Yeast
- 2 teaspoon Sugar
- 100 gram All purpose flour
- 75 milliliter Warm Water
- As required Dough
- 250 gram crystallized fruit
- 100 gram seedless raisins
- 1 teaspoon lemon rind
- 1 teaspoon orange rind
- 2 tablespoon port wine
- 1 tablespoon Rum
- 150 gram Rum
- 150 gram Sugar
- 3 No.s Egg
- 600 gram wheat flour
- 75 milliliter warm milk
- 50 gram chopped almonds
- 50 gram walnuts
- 25 gram pine nuts
- 1 No.s dried bean

How to Make King Cake Recipe
step 1
STEP 01
Prepare a yeast mixture in sugar and flour. Keep aside. Keep for 30 minutes.
STEP 02
For dough in another bowl add crystallized fruits, raisins, lemon and orange peels, wine and rum. Leave soaked.
STEP 03
Take another bowl and beat butter in it, add sugar, and make smooth. Beat eggs and yolks at sometime and little flour. Now add milk and yeast mixture. Add almonds, walnuts and pine nuts.
STEP 04
Cover and leave to rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
STEP 05
Take the dough and knead for 1 minute. Using thumbs make a belly in the middle and grease.
STEP 06
Top the crust with few crystallized fruits and beat eggs and brush the crust. Keep in preheated 190 degrees and for 40 minutes or golden brown. Top with icing.
