Onion pakodas are basically onion fritters prepared with gram flour. Onion pakoda is popular Indian street food, prepared differently in various parts of India and known by differrnt names like Kanda bhaji, khekda bhaji, kanda vada etc. These crispy and spicy pakodas can be prepared in jiffy with very less ingredients. When monsoon brings pakoda cravings along with rain, these fritters are the best choice with a cup of hot tea. Today ,I have prepared onion pakoda in Maharastrian style,commonly known as Khekda bhaji (as it looks and shape resembles crab )or Kanda bhaji.
