Masoor daal and decided to try this dal in dinner and give a twist of khatta meetha like taste with some spicy flavors. And made daal, it turned out an amazing dal recipe that day and makes an entry in our weekly menu.
STEP 2.Add masoor dal, water,salt,turmeric powder,red chilli powder in the cooker.increase the flame high,let it comes to boil,close the lid of cooker.cook it for one whistle. on high flame.
STEP 3.Let the cooker cool down,open the lid pressure cooked dal is ready.
STEP 4.For tadka...heat the ghee in pan add hing,cumin seeds,
STEP 5.Onion,garlic,green chillies till golden brown in low flame for 3 minutes.
STEP 6.Add garam masala, tamarind pulp nd jaggery mix it well. Your masoor dal is ready to serve.
