Heat the pan with 2 tsp oil. Fry the mustard seeds, curry leaves and sliced green chilies.
Add 1 tsp ginger paste along with the diced tomatoes, cook until the tomatoes become mushy.
Add salt to taste, ⅓ tsp turmeric powder along with 4 to 5 dates and stir.
Next, add 2 tsp jaggery and mix well. Then, add a cup of water and cook for 10 minutes.
Add jeera powder ½ tsp, mix well and it will be ready to serve.
