STEP 3.First Dry roast the 2 tb sp of dry Dhaniya, 2 tsp of jeera, 1 tsp of Black pepper corns, 1 pieces of cinnamon, 2 tsp of Dry curry leaves, 2 tb sp of Dry coconut ... n keep it for cool down.....after it's cool....put in a mixer n make it little coarsely Huggi powder....n keep asides....
STEP 4.Roast 1 cup of moong dal, 2 tsp of jeera, in a little pure ghee....
STEP 5.When its turn to aromatic....add washed Rice n mix well....n stir....add required quantity of water...n mix ....add salt to tastes, 1 tsp of turmeric powder, 1 tsp of jeera n mix welll...when the Rice is half cooked. ....add Huggis masala powder n mix welll....
STEP 6.Add little jaggery if u want....add 2 tb sp of pure ghee....n stir....continuously....for....its smooth.. sprinkle chopped coriander, grated fresh coconut n mix ...n stir.....now the rice turns to ' Huggi smells fully aromatic.... n come n cooked in thicken....off the flame n mix well....
STEP 7.Serve in a serving plate....wt little pure ghee....n enjoy Hot Hot the tastes of ' Traditional Huggi Rice in different tastes n flavors in Bhogi day....
