Ingredients for Khaman dhokla Recipe

  • 0.13 cup 1 & a 1/2 cup - gram
  • 1/2 tsp semolina (suji)
  • 1/2 tsp Eno powder
  • 0.13 tsp Sugar
  • 1/4 Tbsp lemon (nimbu)
  • 1/2 g green chilly (hari mirch)
  • 2 As Required Kari leaves
  • 1/4 tsp mustard seeds (raai)
  • 0.06 tsp salt (namak)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tbsp Oil

Directions: Khaman Dhokla Recipe

  • STEP 1.Mix gram flour, semolina and 1 cup of water.
  • STEP 2.Grease a container. Heat water in a pressure cooker and place a sieve (jaali) on it.
  • STEP 3.Add eno powder. Immediately pour this mixture in the greased container.
  • STEP 4.Place it on jaali and cover the cooker. Remove the whistle of the cooker. Let it cook at high flame for 15 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Take out the dhoklas out of the container and cut into pieces once it is cooled.
  • STEP 6.Heat oil in a pan and crackle mustard seeds. Then put curry leaves. Finely chop green chilies.
  • STEP 7.Put 2 cup water, sugar and lemon juice in a container and put all dhoklas in it. After 5 minutes take out the extra water.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with finely chopped dhania patti. Serve with some chutney.
