Instead of fried malpue, these are simple eggless custard pancakes served with our desi kesar pista rabdi. This recipe is made with less oil(1 tsp) and also less sugar, so it's guilt free too.   • 0.33 Pieces Bread slice
  • 0.08 Litre Full cream milk
  • 1/2 tbsp Milk powder
  • 0.17 tbsp Sugar
  • 0.17 tsp Kewda essence
  • 0.08 tsp Saffron strands
  • 0.06 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 0.17 tbsp pistachios (chopped)
  • 0.17 cup Refined flour
  • 0.13 cup Milk
  • 0.08 cup Sugar(powdered)
  • 0.17 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 0.17 tbsp Custard powder
  • 0.08 tsp Baking soda
  • 0.17 tsp Oil

Directions: Kesar Pista Rabdi With Custard Pancakes Recipe

  • STEP 1.Firstly, boil milk in a pan on medium heat.

  • STEP 2.When it starts boiling, add sugar.

  • STEP 3.Cut bread in small pieces and grind into a fine powder.

  • STEP 4.Add this powder in milk and mix well.

  • STEP 5.Cook on low flame till it starts thicken, then add milk powder.

  • STEP 6.Mix saffron in 1 tbsp milk and add kewda essence.

  • STEP 7.Add this saffron milk and cardamom powder in rabdi.

  • STEP 8.Stir and switch off the flame.

  • STEP 9.For pancake, take flour, milk, sugar powder, vanilla extract, custard powder and baking soda.

  • STEP 10.Mix all well to make a lump free batter.

  • STEP 11.Heat a nonstick pancake pan, add 1 tsp oil and put batter with the help of ladle.

  • STEP 12.Cook from both sides and keep in plate.

  • STEP 13.Spread rabdi on pancakes, garnish with chopped pistachios, saffron and serve.
