Cut the shell of the prawns and wash them properly. Add salt and turmeric powder to marinate the prawns
Heat the pan and add 2 tsp cooking oil . Add 1tsp mustard seed, handful of curry leaves and dry red chilies , let them pop
Add diced ½ cup onions and tomato, fry it for 4 mins. Add 1tsp ginger garlic paste and 1tsp red chili powder
Add ¾ cup water. Add the marinated prawns and cook for 15 mins
Serve with rice or bread
