Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a blender, grind together fresh coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chilies, ginger, and garlic to make a smooth paste.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and sliced onions. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the ground green paste and saute for a few minutes. Then, add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Add chicken pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides. Then, add coconut milk and water. Cover and simmer for 20-25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or appam.
