Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.In a pan, heat oil and add mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, and curry leaves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions, ginger, and garlic and sauté until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and fenugreek powder. Mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add tamarind pulp and coconut milk. Bring it to a boil.
  • STEP 6.Add the marinated fish and cook until it is tender and cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or appam.
