Ingredients for KEHKESHAN-E-KHAAS Recipe

  • 1/4 cup Basmati rice
  • 3/4 cups water
  • 3.75 Pieces Cashews
  • 2.50 Pieces Almonds
  • 5 Pieces Raisins
  • 1.25 Pieces Walnuts
  • 1/4 tbsp Cranberries dried
  • 1/4 tbsp Apricots
  • 1/4 tbsp Musk melon seeds
  • 1/4 tbsp Pumpkin seeds
  • 0.13 Cups Pineapple
  • 0.13 cup Green peas
  • 0.06 cup French beans chopped
  • 0.13 cup Carrot chopped
  • 25 gms Paneer
  • 5 g Green chillies
  • 1/2 Pieces Onion
  • 0.13 cup Ghee
  • 1 Pieces Green cardamom
  • 1/2 Pieces Black cardamom
  • 1/4 Pieces Star anise
  • 0.13 inch Cinnamon stick
  • 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 Pieces Black pepper
  • 1.25 Pieces Cloves
  • 1/4 Pieces Bay leaf
  • 1/4 cup thick curd
  • 3.75 Pieces Mint leaves
  • 2.50 tbsp Cranberries
  • 1.75 tbsp Apricots
  • 2.50 tbsp Raisins
  • 1/2 tbsp Pineapple
  • 0.06 cup Pomegranate
  • to taste Salt
  • 1/4 tsp jeera powder
  • 0.13 tsp Black pepper powder

Directions: Kehkeshan-e-khaas Recipe

  • STEP 1.👉Wash and soak rice for 30-40 minutes
  • STEP 2.👉 Fry all dryfruits and dried seeds in ghee separately
  • STEP 3.👉soak dried fruits in hot water
  • STEP 4.👉blanch green peas and French beans
  • STEP 5.👉 now saute onion in ghee again till light golden brown
  • STEP 6.👉add green chilli
  • STEP 7.👉add carrots and sauté
  • STEP 8.👉now add all dried fruits, dryfruits, peas and French beans
  • STEP 9.👉keep aside
  • STEP 10.👉in a pan, take ghee again, add all garam masala
  • STEP 11.👉 add soaked rice and water and salt.
  • STEP 12.👉cook on high flame till water is all soaked and keep on low flame for 2-3 minutes
  • STEP 13.👉now add all mixture of vegetables and dryfruits to rice, pineapple, orange Zest and orange juice.
  • STEP 14.👉keep the biryani pan on a tawa then on gas, to give it dum for 5 minutes
  • STEP 15.For raita beat curd
  • STEP 16.👉add all ingredients and mix
