  • 1/2 cup Onions coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1/4 cup Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Coriander powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Mild kashmiri chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kasoor methi dried fenugreek leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt use a bit less if you are using table salt
  • 3 ounce Lamb keema the full amount of the recipe link below. you can take out the whole spices or not. up to you
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1/2 tablespoon Garlic ginger paste see notes
  • As required The spice mix from above
  • 1/2 tablespoon Tomato paste plus enough water to dilute it to the consistency of tomato sauce
  • As required The onion paste from above
  • 1/4 teaspoon Tamarind paste homemade or store bought
