How to Make Kaya Jam Recipe
In a bowl add egg yolk,coconut cream,coconut milk,sugar and whisk it well and then strain it.
1.in a saucepan add egg mixture,pandan leaves and heat it at medium to low flame.
2.continuously stir the mixture until they are cooked
3.now add the cornstarch mixture and stir to combine well.
4.then melt the sugar, caramel separately in a saucepan until it becomes golden brown.
5.transfer the melted caramel to the kaya sauce,mix,and turn off the flame when it turns golden brown
6.now let the kaya jam cool down,discard the pandan leaves and blend the kaya jam for a smooth consistency.
7.transfer it into a jam and can be stored in fridge for a week
