Ingredients for Katsudon Recipe

  • 1 Tonkatsu
  • 1/4 C Dashi
  • 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1/2 tablespoon Sake
  • 1/2 tablespoon Mirin
  • 1-2 Egg
  • As required green onions, chopped
  • As required Steamed Rice
  • As required roasted seaweed , thinly sliced

Directions: Katsudon Recipe

  • STEP 1.Cut the tonkatsu into stripes
  • STEP 2.In a frying pan add dashi , soy sauce , sake ,a mirin and boil
  • STEP 3.Add the tonkatsu stripes and beat egg then pour over it
  • STEP 4.Cover and cook for 1 minute
  • STEP 5.Slide tonkatsu and egg over a rice bowl
  • STEP 6.Top with nori and serve
