#sree I can't think of eating rice without fish at lunch. I have loved eating fish since childhood. Today I'm sharing a very special fish dish with you. My mom used to cook it when I could not remove fish bones. It tastes creamy due to the addition of eggs and milk.The taste and the flavour of this dish is unrivalled. Katla fish omlette is soft, juicy and impeccably seasoned.

Ingredients for Katla fish omlette curry Recipe

  • 3/4 pieces Fried and boneless Katla fish
  • 1/4 cup Liquid milk
  • 0.06 cup Chopped beans
  • 1/2 tbsp Chopped capsicum
  • 1/4 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 0.06 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 0.06 tsp Dried thyme
  • 1/4 g Ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 tbsp Cornflour
  • 1/4 Pieces White part of egg
  • 1/4 tbsp Shredded cheese
  • as required Salt
  • 1 tbsp Refined sunflower oil
  • 1/4 Pieces medium sized chopped onion
  • 0.13 g Ginger garlic paste
  • 0.13 tsp Paprika powder
  • 1/4 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/4 Pieces Finely chopped Green chilli
  • 1/2 tbsp Tomato puree
  • 1/4 Tsp Cornflour
  • 1/2 cups water
  • as required Salt
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil

Directions: Katla Fish Omlette Curry Recipe

  • STEP 1.Combine fish, egg white, chilli flakes, dried thyme, ginger garlic paste, chopped onion, chopped coriander leaves, chopped capsicum, chopped beans, milk, cornflour, cheese and salt. Mix well
  • STEP 2.Heat refined sunflower oil in a non-stick mini snack maker.
  • STEP 3.Add batter add fry on a low flame.
  • STEP 4.After 5-6 minutes flip the omlette and fry. Keep aside.
  • STEP 5.Now add mustard oil in a kadai.
  • STEP 6.Add rest of the ingredients one after another. Saute until the oil gets separated.
  • STEP 7.Now add cornflour and water mixture. Add fish omlette when the gravy becomes thick.
  • STEP 8.Serve hot with steamed rice. You can sprinkle garam masala powder before turning the gas off.
