Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a bowl, marinate the chicken pieces with yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, red chili powder, turmeric powder, and salt. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add chopped onions and saut茅 until golden brown.
  • STEP 3.Add the marinated chicken and cook until it turns golden brown. Then, add tomato puree, kasoori methi, garam masala, and salt. Mix well.
  • STEP 4.Cover the pan and let the chicken cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, or until it is tender and cooked through.
  • STEP 5.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.

Cooking Tips

  • For a richer flavor, you can add a tablespoon of cream or cashew paste to the gravy.
  • If you prefer a spicier dish, increase the amount of red chili powder or add some green chilies.
