Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Clean and marinate the fish with turmeric powder and salt.
  • STEP 2.Grind together coconut, red chilies, coriander seeds, tamarind, and garlic to make a paste.
  • STEP 3.Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, curry leaves, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 4.Add the ground paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 5.Add water, salt, and bring the curry to a boil.
  • STEP 6.Gently add the marinated fish and simmer until the fish is cooked through.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or neer dosa.
