Mutton soup is loaded with species and is specially served in the northern region in winters.Karonda is a very tart fruit. In childhood we used to love eating raw Karonde but now the only way I can eat is by making this Karonde Ki Sabji and eat it like a pickle.

Ingredients for Karonde Ka Sharoba Recipe

  • 1 piece mutton legs
  • As required Salt
  • 1/4 piece peeled Ginger
  • 1.25-1.50 No.s black Peppercorns
  • 3/4-1 glass Water
  • 1/4 teaspoon Oil
  • 1/2 No.s sliced Onions
  • 3/4 No.s green chilies
  • 1/4 teaspoon Ginger paste
  • 0.13 No.s black Pepper powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped Mint leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon chickpea flour

Directions: Karonde Ka Sharoba Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.wash the mutton legs thoroughly 5-6 times with wheat flour and water.

step 2

  • STEP 1.add the washed mutton legs in a pressure cooker with salt, peppercorns, ginger and water.

step 3

  • STEP 1. let it cook on high flame for about 45-50 minutes.

step 4

  • STEP 1. heat some oil in a pan and add onions, ginger and green chilies to it.

step 5

  • STEP 1. saute for a few minutes and add the cooked mutton to it.

step 6

  • STEP 1. add mint, coriander, black pepper powder, chickpea flour paste and cover it with a lid.

step 7

  • STEP 1. bring it to boil and cook for 15-20 minutes on medium flame
