Ingredients for Karakajjam Recipe

  • 125 gram Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 125 gram Cooked boondi
  • 1/2 teaspoon Cardamom powder
  • 1 tablespoon Water

Directions: Karakajjam Recipe

  • STEP 1.In a pot, add water jaggery and sugar to prepare a syrup of thick consistency.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl add boondi and cardamom powder and mix them together.
  • STEP 3.Once the syrup is lukewarm, drop the boondi in the syrup and mix till boondi is fully covered with jaggery syrup.
  • STEP 4.Take a mould and add the boondi to set in the mould, once boondi is set in the mould carefully remove them and serve in a plate.
