  • STEP 1.Wash the bitter gourd and cut it lengthwise. Remove the seeds and inner pith.
  • STEP 2.In a bowl, mix together spices like turmeric, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt.
  • STEP 3.Stuff the bitter gourd with the spice mixture and secure with toothpicks.
  • STEP 4.Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Once they splutter, add the stuffed bitter gourd.
  • STEP 5.Cover and cook on low heat for about 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until the gourd is tender.
  • STEP 6.Serve hot with roti or rice.
