Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.In a blender, grind together green chilies, ginger, and garlic to make a paste.
  • STEP 2.Heat oil in a pan and add whole spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown. Then, add the green chili paste and cook for a few minutes.
  • STEP 4.Add chicken pieces and cook until they are browned on all sides.
  • STEP 5.Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well and cook for a few more minutes.
  • STEP 6.Add water, cover the pan, and simmer until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  • STEP 7.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
