  • 0.33 tablespoon Ghee
  • 0.17 teaspoon Cumin Seeds
  • 0.42 Ves
  • 0.17 inch Cinnamon Stick

  • 0.17 Onion, Finely Chopped
  • 0.17 teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 0.08 cup Cashew Nuts
  • 0.33 cup Water

Directions: Kaju Rice(cashewnut Rice) Recipe

Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Wash and soak basmati rice for 30 minutes. Drain the water and keep aside.
  • STEP 2.Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, and bay leaf. Saute until fragrant.
  • STEP 3.Add chopped onions and saute until golden brown. Then, add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • STEP 4.Add cashew nuts and saute until they turn golden. Add the soaked rice and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Add water, salt, and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat, cover the pan, and let it cook for 15-20 minutes or until the rice is cooked and fluffy.
  • STEP 6.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.

  • You can add vegetables like peas, carrots, or bell peppers for added flavor and nutrition.
