Ingredients for Kaju Curry Masala Recipe

  • 2 Tablespoon ghee
  • 1/4 Cup cashews
  • 1/2 Pieces tomatoes
  • 3/4 Pieces onion
  • 1.25 Pieces cloves garlic
  • 1/2 Pieces green chillies
  • 1/2 Pieces dried red chillies
  • 1/4 Pieces Small ginger
  • To Taste Salt
  • A Pinch Asofoetida
  • 1/4 Teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 Tablespoon Kahsmiri red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tablespoon cumin
  • 1/4 Tablespoon coriander
  • 1/4 Tablespoon hot spices
  • 1/4 Tablespoon fresh cream
  • 1/4 Teaspoon fennel powder
  • To Taste Salt
  • 1/4 Pieces Cinnamon cloves bay leaf
  • As Required For Ganishing Coriander
  • As Required For Ganishing Fried cashews

Directions: Kaju Curry Masala Recipe

  • STEP 1.First heat the ghee in a pan. Then add cashew nuts and fry. Fry until browned. Transfer the fried cashews to a bowl and set aside. Then chop the tomatoes, onions, garlic, chillies and ginger.
  • STEP 2.Add red dried chillies, onion, tomato, garlic, ginger, green chillies and salt and fry in cashew nuts. Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 3.When the mixture cools down, crush it in a mixer jar and keep the gravy thick.
  • STEP 4.Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin, dried red chillies, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves. Then add cayenne, turmeric, coriander, fennel powder. After two seconds add the gravy. Add salt and a little warm water. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  • STEP 5.Now add hot spices, fenugreek and cream and stir. Then garnish with coriander and fried cashew nuts.
  • STEP 6.Kaju curry masala is ready. Serve it with cold buttermilk, paratha and salad.
