Ingredients for Kai Zhouk Recipe

  • 8 cup Water
  • 110 gram Long grain rice
  • 500 gram Chicken thigh
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • As required Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon White Pepper
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Onions

Directions: Kai Zhouk Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.1. Wash the rice 2- 3 times with plain water.  set aside.

step 2

  • STEP 2.2. Add rice to a pot of water, chicken thighs, ginger stripes and salt.  skim off the foam. Then cover and simmer for 1 hour. After 1 hours scoop the chicken and rice in a bowl.

step 3

  • STEP 3.3. Add sesame oil,  pinch of white pepper and garnish with some chopped green onions.
