Ingredients for KADHI BARI Recipe

  • 1/4 Cup For bari
  • 1/4 Cup Besan
  • To Taste Salt
  • 0.13 Cup Oil
  • 0.06 Cup water
  • 3/4 Cups For Kadhi
  • 1/2 Tbsp Besan
  • 0.13 Cup Curd
  • 3/4 Cup water
  • 0.13 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 Tsp Garlic paste
  • 1/4 g Dried red chilli
  • A Pinch Asafetida(hing)
  • 1/2 Tbsp Oil
  • To Taste Salt
  • A Pinch Cumin seeds

Directions: Kadhi Bari Recipe

  • STEP 1. In a bowl add besan and 1/4 cup of water and mix well.
  • STEP 2.Make a smooth batter with a whisk.Heat oil in a kadai and pour 1 tbsp besan batter in the hot oil
  • STEP 3.Deep fry all bari in hot oil until golden in color.Simmer after we dropped all the bari and cook in medium flame until done.Now bari is ready.
  • STEP 4.For kadhi we take besan, curd, turmeric powder,red chilli powder, garlic paste, salt and enough water and mix well.
  • STEP 5.Heat oil in a kadai add hing, cumin seeds and whole red chilli to crackle. Add besan curd mixture and cook on medium flame till the gravy become thick.
  • STEP 6.Cook for 8 -10 mins.Kadhi is now ready add fried bari to this kadhi.
  • STEP 7.Serve with steamed rice.
