Ingredients for Kadalebele Payasa Recipe

  • 1/2 cup Split bengal gram
  • 2 tablespoon Rice
  • 1/2 cup Jaggery
  • 1/2 cup Coconut
  • 20 gram Cashew nuts
  • 20 gram Dry grapes
  • 1 tablespoon Ghee
  • 1 teaspoon Poppy seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Cardamom

Directions: Kadalebele Payasa Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Mix the rice and dal together in a bowl. Now take a boiler and keep them to boil.

step 2

  • STEP 1.Now in a grinder take coconut, poppy seeds and cardamom and grind well. Keep aside.

step 3

  • STEP 2.Check for the dal and rice. If cooked cool it down .

step 4

  • STEP 1.Transfer the rice and dal in a pan and cook for 10 minutes. Add the coconut mixture. Keep stirring.

step 5

  • STEP 1.For tempering - take a tbsp of ghee, add 5-6 cashews, dry grapes and let it roast. Then add the tempering on the rice.
