Boiled kachkola are mashed with boiled potatoes, onion paste, ginger, green chillies, and a host of dry spices including bhaja masala, which gives the koftas their distinctive flavour.

- 250 gram Peeled Unripe Banana
- 120 gram Cubed potatoes
- 30 gram Paste of ginger
- 6 gram cumin powder
- 3 gram turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
- As required Water
- 20 gram Grated coconut
- 100 gram Masoor dal
- 2 Green chilies
- As required Salt
- As required Mustard oil
- 2 Dried red chilies
- As required Bay leaves
- 2 Cardamom
- 2 Cloves
- 1 piece Cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

How to Make Kachkola'r Dalna Recipe
STEP 01
Cut the bananas and soak in turmeric powder water
STEP 02
Make a paste of masoor dal, chopped green chilies and salt
STEP 03
Make small balls and deep fry them,keep them aside
STEP 04
Heat the pan with mustard oil
STEP 05
Fry the soaked bananas and set aside
STEP 06
Add dry red chilies, bay leaves,cardamom,cloves, cinnamon and cumin seeds,temp it

Add the potatoes and grated coconuts, fry well
STEP 08
Add the prepared paste of spices and cook for 4mins
STEP 09
Add the fried bananas and mix well
STEP 10
Add hot water and cover
STEP 11
Cook for 5mins
STEP 12
Add the small balls
STEP 13
Add ghee and mix well
STEP 14
Serve with rice
