Ingredients for Kachki Macher Chorchori Recipe

  • 250 gram kachki/tangra fish
  • As required Salt
  • As required Cooking Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon Green chili
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric powder
  • 1 Onion
  • 1 Tomato
  • 1 Potato
  • As required Coriander leaves

Directions: Kachki Macher Chorchori Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Cut and clean the fish thoroughly, Slit the green chilies from the middle, dice the potato and chop some onions.

  • STEP 1.Heat the oil in a pan and Fry the chopped onion and garlic paste until it is soft and translucent.

  • STEP 1.Add the green chilies and the tomato. Saute them for about 3 minutes.

step 8

  • STEP 1.Now add red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt to taste. Mix well and fry for a few minutes.

  • STEP 2.Add water and fish. Cook on medium heat with the lid on.

step 10

  • STEP 3.Check if the potatoes are softened, add coriander leaves, and green chillies. Cook on low heat for 10 minutes.
