Cooking Directions

  • STEP 1.Boil the raw bananas until they are soft and tender. Peel and mash them.
  • STEP 2.Add spices, chopped onions, green chilies, and coriander leaves to the mashed bananas. Mix well.
  • STEP 3.Shape the mixture into small balls and deep-fry them until golden brown.
  • STEP 4.In a separate pan, heat oil and add cumin seeds, ginger-garlic paste, and chopped onions. Saute until onions turn golden brown.
  • STEP 5.Add tomato puree, turmeric powder, red chili powder, and garam masala. Cook until the oil separates from the masala.
  • STEP 6.Add water and salt to the masala and bring it to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes.
  • STEP 7.Gently add the fried koftas to the gravy and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • STEP 8.Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with rice or roti.
