  • 2 cup Jowar
  • 1 liter Water
  • As required Salt

Directions: Jonna Gatka Recipe

step 1

  • STEP 1.Grind 2 cups of jowar seeds. The consistency must be trembling.

  • STEP 1.Now strain the grinded jowar and remove the flour.

step 3

  • STEP 1.Take a pan and add water to boil, after the water is boiled add the prepared jowar slowly while mixing the batter in low flame. Make sure there are no lumps.

step 4

  • STEP 1.Let the batter thicken for approximately 15-20 minutes. Then add salt as required.

step 5

  • STEP 1.Healthy jonna gatka is ready to serve hot with buttermilk (optional).
