Jhinga masala aur Prawn masala is a very delicious delicacy from the with the part of Maharashtra it is basically made up of tiger prawns or shrims and which is very much available in the rivers of Vidarbha like vainganga. It is a quick recipe and does not required much ingredient.

Ingredients for Jhinga masala ( prawn masala) Recipe

  • 100 Gram Prawns
  • 1/2 Tsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1/2 Teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 Teaspoon Turmeric half
  • 1/2 Teaspoon dhaniya powder
  • To Taste salt
  • 1.50 Tablespoon groundnut oil
  • 0.17 Pieces lemon
  • 1/4 Tsp black paper powder to taste

Directions: Jhinga Masala ( Prawn Masala) Recipe

  • STEP 1.Wash and devain the prawns marinate with ginger garlic paste lemon salt and turmeric. Keep aside for 15 minutes mean while finally chop onion tomato. In a non stick Pan shallow fry the marinated prawns till little crispy. Remove and keep aside.
  • STEP 2. Add groundnut oil to the same pan and add onion saute for 2 minutes ,add Tomato, powder spices such as Red chilli powder dhaniya powder turmeric sal. Now add the sorted prawns and cook till 5 minutes and ample of green coriander , cook for one more minute and switch off the flame. serve hot and again garnish with green coriander....
  • STEP 3.we can have it like a snack or with steamed chinnor rice and chapati.
